Founded in August of 2022, Sage & Brush Barbershop, located in the heart of East Nashville, is a full-service, all-gender, neighborhood barbershop and salon, owned by a Barber/Stylist with more than 15 years of experience in the industry. Having had the pleasure of working in all kinds of salons and barbershops, the time came for the owners to gather all of their skills and experience and create a place they could be proud of.

The business is aptly named as well. Sage has a long association with cleansing and wisdom. The owner’s love of the American West, coupled with the concept of the barber’s term “mug and brush” completed the name’s background. By keeping the business small, they are able to handpick superior talent and adhere to their mission of providing customers with a memorable experience that focuses on high-quality detail in a hip, comfortable atmosphere dedicated to hair and music.

Sage & Brush’s services include haircuts, shaves, color and waxings and their specialty is a straight-razor shave and haircut that’s finished with a sage-infused hot towel on the back of the neck. Caring barbers take their time, creating the best look and feel for their clients.
Striving to develop and maintain meaningful, long-lasting relationships with both clients and the East Nashville community, the Barber Shop not only provides excellent service, but is dedicated to the area and its people. Programs to give back to the environment and work towards their carbon footprint as a business along with hosting events that encourage local arts are all a part of their efforts to be a positive contributing member of the community that they serve.
